| John Wozniak was born March 21, 1956, in Ft.
Knox, Kentucky, the son of John and Ann Ondreyik Wozniak. He graduated
from Johnstown High School in 1974 and received his B.A. from the
University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown in 1978.
He was elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1980 where he served until his election to the Senate of Pennsylvania in 1996. Sen. Wozniak serves at Democratic Chairman of the Senate Communications & Technology Committee and is a member of the Senate Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committee; Appropriations Committee; Community, Economic & Recreational Development Committee; Consumer Protection & Professional Licensure Committee; Finance Committee; and Game and Fisheries Committee. He and his wife, Vanessa, have two children: Michael and Rachel. ###
