Sen. Wozniak learns about the multi-gas monitors the Clinton County Department of Emergency Services was able to purchase recently, thanks to a Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) grant the Senator helped secure.

Through the $23,000 grant, a total of 23 monitors were purchased, one for each fire company in the County and for the County Hazmat truck. In most cases, the new units replaced old and out-of-service single-gas monitors. The new monitors have the ability to measure for hydrogen sulfide, lower explosive limits, oxygen, and carbon monoxide levels.
